Last Friday MLW broadcast a one-hour Intimidation Games special on beIN Sports, featuring a steel cage rematch between MLW World Champion ‘Filthy’ Tom Lawlor and the man he choked out for the title Low-Ki. Thankfully MLW takes pity on those of us without that in our cable package and have posted the show online, so here I am with a recap! Let’s do this.

Champion Roll-Call

  • MLW World Heavyweight Champion: ‘Filthy’ Tom Lawlor
  • MLW World Middleweight Champion: Teddy Hart
  • MLW World Tag Team Champions: The Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart & Davey Boy Smith Jr.)

The Lineup

  • Steel Cage Match: Tom Lawlor [c] vs. Low-Ki for the MLW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP (**3/4)

Lucha Bros vs. Team AAA Announced for ‘MLW Intimidation Games’

MLW has announced the first official match for next month’s Intimidation Games live event: ex-MLW World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix) will take on Team AAA (Taurus & Laredo Kid). Team AAA is answering the challenge The Lucha Bros put out in their big ‘Decision’ announcement at the end of last week’s show. To be honest my knowledge of AAA is very minimal at the moment (I’m working on it), but according to the press release Laredo Kid is one-third of the current AAA World Trios Champions and Taurus…uh has the coolest damn bull mask I’ve ever seen? Mantaur this dude isn’t. This match will also mark the return of Konnan to the side of The Lucha Bros, after being put on the shelf thanks to then-MLW World Heavyweight Champion Low-Ki.

MLW Intimidation Games takes place on March 2nd at the Cicero Stadium in Cicero, IL, 8 miles outside of Chicago and you buy tickets by clicking hereMLW Fusion airs every Friday on beIN Sports, and is posted the next night on MLW’s official YouTube Channel. It’s also on Fite.TV so pretty much it’s everywhere.
